Wickwar Allotments Association

The village of Wickwar is very lucky to have access to 19 allotment plots.  Currently 9 are used as whole plots with the remaining 10 being sub-divided.

The plots are located in the field adjacent to The King George V Playing Fields.

If you are interested in becoming a plot holder please contact the Secretary for further information.

Music with Mummy & Jolly Babies

Classes every Thursday afternoon.

Music with Mummy (1-3yrs) will run at 2pm and Jolly Babies (birth to 15mths) at 1.15pm.

Music with Mummy is an educational programme designed to teach basic musical concepts to under 3's through themed songs, percussion, games and movement.

Jolly Babies is a great way for parents/carers to bond with their baby through song, dance, percussion and bouncing.

Classique Academy of Dance

Classique Academy of Dance currently holds classes in Wickwar and Emersons Green and has over 110 students.

Subjects taught include Ballet, HipHop, Tap and Modern for ages 2 ½ - 18.

Classique Academy of Dance classes in Ballet, Modern and Tap follow the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) syllabus and some students will have the chance to take exams that are accredited to the national framework.

Students wishing to dance just for fun without taking exams are also welcome.

Women's Circle

Wickwar Woman’s Circle is an informal group of village women, which meets in the Town Hall on the second Wednesday of the month from 8:00 – 10:00pm.  We organise speakers, walks and the occasional visit to places of local interest.  Membership is £10.00 per year.  Recently we have had talks on good nutrition, chiropody, Indian Head massage and travels to Rajastan.   All new members are very welcome.
